I’ve been away from my computer for over 10 days as I traveled to visit my father as he was dying, and then to return to Massachusetts for his funeral. I haven’t been able to do any knitting or writing, but am going to post the text of my comments at his funeral. Several people, both family and friends, were able to share their thoughts and memories of my dad. It was very healing and very moving for me, both to write something on my own, and to hear others speak. To all of you who sent sympathy notes, emails, and cards, thank you. Your thoughtfulness was very reassuring and strengthening.
