Lion Brand Cable Hat – Making Progress

Lion Brand Cable Hat
Last night I finally settled on a project to learn cables. It is the Lion Brand Pattern Number: 60619A and one of the first things I realized is that I needed to put the instructions into Word and reformat it so that I can see it through my new bifocals without getting a headache from eye strain. I hadn’t yet done a “purl through back loop” (p tbl or P1b) so I looked for instructions online …it turns out that my guess at how to do it worked just fine. I found a great page that not only explains the abbreviations and terms, but shows little mini-tutorial videos. Check out the KnittingHelp.com site for more.
