More Cabled Mitts

I started my second pair of mitts and have a couple of WIP photos to share…

I think things are going okay. I only had to tink one row so far when I forgot to start my cable. I might also have skipped a row, I was trying to keep knitting even though I was falling asleep last night!

I grew up in New England, moved to the Carolinas in '98 to start working at what was then a large regional bank and is now a really big nationwide bank. I work doing intranet content management and intranet site management. After work, I practice Aikido, knit, ride my motorcycle, read, watch movies & eat. I've been studying Aikido since 2014, and I ride a Yamaha V-Star 1300. I am pretty sure that I want to hike the Appalachian Trail someday.

  1. Oh, man–that is some gorgeous yarn! The pattern is great, too, but I’m really impressed with the yarn.

I like the yarn bag from a couple of days ago, too.

Just found your blog today; I’m adding it to my blogroll so I can see more of the pretty pictures as they arrive. Thanks for posting! 🙂

  2. Cat, you can get some of the yarn at a very reasonable price! It is Lion Brand Yarn, Wool-Ease Worsted Weight, 152 Oxford Grey!
